With an elevation of 1679 metres above sea level the Mont Tendre is the highest peak in the Swiss Jura and offers spectacular hiking and cycling trails. Enjoy the fantastic views while having a rest at the Chalet du Mont Tendre, before continuing on to L'abbaye in the Joux valley while enjoying a break at the Chalet de Chatel.

Train BAM (Bière-Apples-Morges)
La voie des sens. The little green trains of the BAM railway line bring the passengers from Morges to Bière or even up to the springs of the Venoge river at l'Isle.

The BAM Saveur offer consists of an electric locomotive and a bar wagon of the year 1895. This romantic little train takes you up to Apples. During this ride you can enjoy the wonderful landscape while enjoying a welcome drink.
At the train station of Apples you will change to a restaurant wagon of the year 1925. During the ride to l'Isle you will be spoiled with seasonal delicacies of the Morges region. The gastronomic part of the trip ends at l'Isle, a lovely Jura foot village. After the returning to Apples you have the possibility to take the BAM trian to Bière and the possibility to visit the Mill of Sévery, the last manual oil mill in Switzerland that is being run throughout the year. Montricher is on the railway route from Apples to l'Isle / Mont-la-Ville.
